國民黨立委許淑華、楊鎮浯等十名立委前往大陸交流，拜會國台辦主任劉結一，根據與會立委轉述，劉結一表示近來共機頻繁繞台，與友邦接連與我斷交，這是大陸為了回應行政院長賴清德多次公開自稱「務實台獨工作者」的反制措施。

國民黨立院黨團會見劉結一時，指出最近大陸軍機、軍艦頻繁繞台，並介入我與友邦關係造成斷交，已經造成部分台灣民眾負面觀感。劉結一說，大陸機艦繞台和斷交潮，是為了回應少數台獨分子 - 賴清德多次公開自稱「務實台獨工作者」，大陸是要維護 2300 萬台灣同胞的權益，對台灣民眾還是友善。

國民黨立委向劉結一表示，台灣民眾看到共機頻繁繞台與斷交潮，不見得與陸方的最初用意相同。有立委指出，蔡政府這兩年的施政，因兩岸僵局造成人民權益的損失，但建議陸方應斟酌大陸對台舉措對台灣年底選舉的影響，不要導致親痛仇快。

陸委會發言人邱垂正表示，這種莫名歸責台灣、侵犯我方尊嚴與權益的做法，已經破壞台海和平穩定的現狀，我方強烈表達不滿與反對，並譴責這絕不是負責任一方應有的作為。
